OVERVIEW
This was developed for an organization with the mission of educating and empowering people. This organization needed to quickly build a database of concerned voters, supporters, and volunteers, giving them an ability to collect input and feedback, organize volunteers, and mobilize its people constituency with actions such as petition drives and voter education campaigns.
Meghwal Vankar Trust Foundation is a youth led organization working on empowering the underprivileged section of our society. Meghwal Vankar Trust Foundation has a pan India presence through its wide network of Volunteer Chapters across the country. Meghwal Vankar Trust Foundation focused its interventions on issues concerning youth and children which brought about significant changes in their lives in terms of education, health, skill, career and sustainable livelihood. Meghwal Vankar Trust Foundation also works on Environment conservation, women empowerment, Food safety and security, . Being an organization who cares for society, Meghwal Vankar Trust Foundation gets engaged in projects as the situation demands under natural or manmade disasters, like COVID-19 Pandemic, Flood, Drought Relief etc.

Our Volunteers
Volunteering has been a part of our network since we were founded over 1 years ago. To this day, voluntary service—helping others without desire for personal gain—remains one of our Fundamental Principles guiding everything we do.
When you hear ‘Meghwal Vankar Trust Foundation ’ or ‘ Meghwal Vankar Gujarathi Samaj ’, you might picture people running with stretchers or handing out food. But this only scratches the surface of what our incredible volunteers do. Our volunteers are also involved in activities such as:
- Running telephone hotlines to support isolated communities
- Providing comfort and care to people on the move
- Leading community health campaigns so people know how to live long and healthy lives
- Search and rescue efforts and reuniting families in the wake of a disaster
- Running youth programmes
And much, much more.
Beyond delivering services, our volunteers play a vital role improving community resilience and unity. They also advocate fiercely on behalf of vulnerable people. The scale and scope of what they undertake and achieve every day across the world is astonishing.
Our 10 volunteers in Mumbai are the beating heart of the Meghwal Vankar Trust Foundation Societies (MVTFS). They are our strength. They are what define us. And they help make the world a safer and more peaceful place every single day.
Our volunteers do lots of different activities but are united by the same goal: to serve humanity. Often people join their local Meghwal Vankar Samaj Society as a temporary volunteer in the wake of a disaster. Many enjoy volunteering so much they stay on—sometimes for many decades.
Our biggest strength as a humanitarian network is that our volunteers come from the very communities they serve. This means they have firsthand knowledge of, and are trusted by, their communities.
