The issue of malnutrition is of major concern for countries across the world. While it is a universal problem, children and women living in poverty are the worst affected by it.
Due to the pandemic as a lot of people lost their means of livelihood and were further pushed into poverty, it affected their food consumption levels compromising their nutritional health. It also caused disruption in preventive health and nutrition services.
Our campaign ‘Plate Half Full’ is an attempt towards enhancing education with adequate nutrition – while it is necessary to have underprivileged children attend school, it is also just as important to have them eat regular nutritious meals in a day. It focuses on improving the nutritional status of mothers, infants, and young children to promote holistic development and help them reach their fullest potential.
